Inner South Family Services
Inner South (and Middle) Family Services is a free community based family support program for families with children under the age of 18 years.
People who can access the service:
Families who live in the local government areas of Port Phillip, Stonnington and Glen Eira.
How family services works:
Family Services provide a comprehensive range of services and approaches. These include:
- Outreach
- In Home Support
- Family decision making/Family group conferencing
- Group work
- Child and Family Counselling
- Assistance in accessing universal services
- Secondary consultations
How clients can benefit from the service
We support families experiencing a range of difficulties that may impact on their parenting and family life. These difficulties can include problems associated with household management, relationship stresses, personal difficulties and parenting challenges.

The aim of Family Services is to promote the safety, stability and development of vulnerable children, young people and their families, as well as to build capacity and resilience for children, families and communities.
