The Integrated Counselling Service provides high quality counselling at an affordable cost to families and individuals dealing with a range of issues.
Connections’ counselling team comprises psychologists, probationary psychologists and qualified counsellors.
Although no client will be excluded from this service based on an inability to pay. However there is a sliding scale of fees for this service based on family (household) income and circumstances.
Fee scale:
| Pensioners | $15.00 per session |
| Health Care Card or student | $25.00 per session |
| Family income under $50,000 | $35.00 per session |
| Family income above $50,000 | $50.00 per session |

| Household income up to $30,000 | $20.00 per session |

Counselling sessions are 50 minute – one hour in duration and it is recommended that sessions initially be taken on a weekly basis. It is important that Connections is notified at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to attend your pre-arranged appointment.
The Integrated Counselling Service mainly operates during the day but we do provide limited evening sessions.
All counselling is strictly confidential in accordance with Connections Policies and ethical, professional and legal standards.
Families, individuals and children can access a range of professional and high quality counselling services at an affordable price. This allows them to receive support that can help them to overcome difficulties that they may otherwise not be able to receive.
Connections believes that in a just and participatory society people who require professional counselling should not be prevented from accessing it on the basis of income.
The Integrated Counselling Service allows people with lower household incomes to access these services that support them to overcome difficulties in their lives so that they can contribute to the community.
